Day 01: Airport - Manado – Bunaken

Manado is the capital of North Sulawesi with about 450.000 inhabitants; most of them are belonging to the ethnic group called Minahasa. This is a modern town and with one of the highest standard of living in the eastern of Indonesia. The town is clean and has some of modern Malls, shopping centre and good restaurant

Day 02: Bunaken Marine Park

Bunaken National Marine Park is home to thousands of different species of fish, coral, endangered marine mammals and reptiles, birds, mollusk of mangrove forest species. Bunaken National Marine Park is also home of various exceptional species in the world that make it very challenging place for scientific purposes.

The fascination underwater life in water territory of this area Bunaken National Park varieties, specific on unique and exotic, make this area as the beautiful Manado tourism and grows one of famous marine park object in the world.

Day 03: Bunaken - Manado – Tangkoko

  2. Return to Manado and then 2h driving to Batu Putih Village
  3. Check in at Resort near the park
  4. Lunch will be serve on the way
  5. Jungle trekking to see Sulawesi endemic animal such as Black Macacanigra, Hornbill, Butterflies, the smallest primates in the world Tarsius Spectrum and other rain forest life

Day 04: Tangkoko - Tomohon

Tangkoko Batuangus – Dua Saudara Nature Reserve is a small Nature Reserve with a very rich wild life which means it is possible to see many animals in a short time. Here the chance to see hornbill A among the best in Sulawesi. The hornbill is a bird with a great symbolic meaning for the indigenous people in Indonesia as it represents the heaven.

The reserve is small around 8.876 hectares and has a fertile volcanic soil. It is situated on the coast with black sandy volcanic beaches. The park has about 160 species out of which 50 are endemics. For example the smallest primate Tarsius Spectrum, Black monkey Macacanigra, Maleo birds, King fisher’s just to mention a few. Many are in danger extinction.

Day 05: Tomohon - Volcano - Natural Hotspring

Tomohon is a small municipality the city is developed very fast, surrounded by 2 (two) volcanoes (Mt. Lokon and Mt. Mahawu). Here is the centre for volcanic studies and has beautiful view on the coconut plantation below. You are some 750 m above sea level; the climate is mild with pleasant day and cool fresh air. In the local market of Tomohon: Dogs, Jungle rats, fruit bats are being sold as foods and some Piton snake as well. You also find vendors selling delicious sweet made of coconut, bananas, palm sugar and rice.

Day 07: Manado - Jakarta - Bogor (West Java)

Day 08: Bogor

Bogor’s main attraction is its world-class botanical garden, which is a vast expanse of luxuriant greenery in the middle of the city, known as Kebun Raya (Great Garden), covering an area are around 80 Hectares. The gardens contain streams and Lotus ponds and more than 15,000 species of trees and plants, including 400 types of magnificent palms. The orchid houses are reputed to contain more than 3000 Orchid Varieties

The province of West Java has a population of 50 million, an area of 46,229 square km and Bandung it’s capitally. It is historically known as Sunda and West Java is place of Sundanese people and their culture

Day 13: Garut

Climb Papandayan Mount 2662m, is the one of the most active volcanoes in the West Java and this mountain has only existed since 1772 when a large piece of the mountain exploded and last erupted 1925. The bubbling yellow crater just below the peak is an impressive sight and clearly visible from Garut valley on fine morning
